It's Holiday Shopping Time Canton!

Meet Joe Buzolith of Kelnjo Jewelry...
The name comes from my younger daughter Kelly and me (Jo) and we are registered as a business with the state.

We just completed our first year in business in July.We offer genuine gemstones and handmade sterling silver and gold jewelry at reasonable prices.
When I bought some jewelry tools and gemstones back in late May 2015 and decided to try a new hobby I had no idea it would lead to the amount of fun and enjoyment I have had over the last year form this hobby business.
I hand make all the jewelry pieces we offer, no bought settings!  I try to make a unique and interesting piece of jewelry most nights after I get home from work.   Most weekends I make between 3 to 6 pieces.  Some of the cabochons I cut and polish myself and I try to keep a broad variety of different gemstones in my offerings.

I really enjoy the process of forming the piece with silver or gold, setting the gemstone, and bringing it all together into a finished product that someone will enjoy.
My daughter Kelly helps with the marketing and we have traveled over most of the state doing a lot of craft shows and festivals in the last year and enjoy meeting potential customers.

I enjoy talking about the gemstones and my jewelry and meeting people at the booths. A lot of the rewards from this hobby business are from the feedback I get from my customers! Hope to see you at the show!

Meet Karla Wehling of Ever Iris Designs...
I am a mom of three awesome kids, wife of a great husband, and grandma to three beautiful kids, two boys and one girl, Ever Iris. My daughter Emily and I started our Etsy store in March of 2016 making headbands. Since we had the perfect model, and Ever herself needed some new bows, we figured why not! I really enjoy making each bow and waiting to see the final outcome.
We use many premium designer fabrics, a great nylon band, and other materials such as leather and velvet.  I love seeing the headbands on my granddaughter – and she luckily is very happy to wear them.  Since we have been up and running for over six months now, we have also received many photos of little ones wearing our bows - it is very humbling to see something we hand made on these precious girls.  I hope to enjoy making these for many years to come; as long as I can keep stitching!

Meet Samara Bonner from Sonata Elise Boutique...
I'm a stay at home mom, wife, and entrepreneur. I love the art of sewing very feminine clothing for little girls because it because it allows me to bring out my creative energy which is very fulfilling. I've been running my business for a year and a half.

My inspiration comes in my forms: The seasons, vintage fashion, medieval fashion, even Kawaii Japanese female characters have added inspiration to my work. I started sewing for my little girl and it gradually became a business.
I am self taught and started altering clothing when I was in high school. When I had my daughter I purchased my first sewing machine and it became addicting. I received so many compliments on my work and it was then that I realized "Hey I can do something more with this!" I decided to then share my talent with others and started my business.

My creative process..  I first decide on the style of the new garment I would like to create. I then choose my fabrics. I love using multiple fabric choices that have patterns and colors that coordinate with each other. Once I'm set on my fabric choices and style I get to work on creating something beautiful. Along my journey I may decide to add a bit of lace here and a cute ribbon bow there. I just allow my creative energy to guide me to making something unique and one of a kind!
My five year goal... I am hoping to have a very successful online boutique as well as having a physical location for local customers.

The message behind my work is I try to design my clothing to make them very feminine while still being modest and age appropriate. Another factor being that I'm a mom is for the clothing to last longer so I eliminated buttons and zippers from my designs to allow growing room by making everything elasticized. To sum it up" Pretty clothing that grows with your princess!" Please view more of my work at: sonataelise.com.
