My name is Nataliya. I am an artist. I create paintings in the quilling technique. About two years ago, I accidentally came across the social network group "Vintage jewelry and products made from natural stones." It was a very new topic for me. I was very interested and curious to observe what is happening in the group. Exciting publications, beautiful antique jewelry, the Renaissance, Edwardian, Victorian, Gregorian epochs, the beginning of the 20th century, the Art Deco and Art Nouveau periods.
I have been engaged in collecting and decorating for about two years, and my small store exists since the beginning of this year. This is my first exhibition in this subject of jewelry. I used to participate in shows as a quilling artist. I adore vintage jewelry. I get fascinated and attracted by gemstones. I want to show other people how the gemstones are interesting, cognitive, pleasant, useful and beautiful. Natural gemstones carry a sea of positive energy. Ancient people believed it and for a reason.
I started making necklaces from natural gemstones for myself, then I became more interested in reading, studying, observing. As a result, I began to improve. However, if there is talent or not, only other people can say. I can not judge myself. Therefore, I want to try to participate in the exhibition. My creative process is insecurity, painful discontent, and endless search, plus massive support from my husband and daughter. I hope that I will succeed and I will open a real small boutique of vintage art and write a book. Some items carry the history, craftsmanship, fashion of this or that era. I want that content of art to be accessible to people. I want to bring some naturalness into this artificial world.
